LAMPADA and its FACILITIES

Lampada Ski Club is situated on the side of a hill not far from the North Perisher T-Bar and is most easily accessible by ski from the Pretty Valley Chair Lift or overland from the area above the Sundeck Hotel.

Access to skiing from the Lodge can be either via the North Perisher Lift, Pretty Valley Chair or Interceptor Chair, the latter being the access lift to Blue Cow &Guthega resorts.

During winter the Lodge is only accessible by oversnow transport and Members must make their own arrangements for transport of themselves and their gear tothe Lodge.

The Lodge is a two-storey structure having a timber upper storey with a large balcony area with an easterly aspect.

It contains 5 X twin-bed bedrooms and 2 X double-bed bedrooms to accommodate a total of 12 persons.

It is organised on a self help basis. Members and their guests supply their own food and other provision.

The Lodge provides bedding, blankets and pillows (and in winter only - sheets, pillow slips & towels) along with basic supplies for kitchen (detergents, paper & tea towels, salt etc) bathroom (bathmats, soap and paper) plus other cleaning materials and the like for the care of the building.

A phone is provided for incoming and outgoing calls (outside calls are chargeable per call) and mobile phone coverage is good for most of the networks.

The care and cleaning of the Lodge is up to Members and their guests.

The ground floor contains ski and locker rooms, drying room, laundry, games room (including dart- board, table tennis & pool tables), one twin-bed bedroom and a bathroom that includes a large spa-bath and separate toilet.

The upper storey contains 4 X twin-bed bedrooms and 2 X double-bed bedrooms, together with 2 separate toilet and 2 seperate shower rooms, a common kitchen and dining / lounge room with a gas fireplace. There is a large balcony opening off the lounge room. An outside gas BBQ is also provided.

Change-overs between parties are on Saturdays at 10am and outgoing parties are expected to leave the Lodge clean and secure for the incoming party.

Winter : Linen and garbage services provided.

Summer : Member and guests to provided own bed linen and towels. Rubbish must be removed from the lodge when leaving.
